Education leaving no one behind,
peace for all

“Everyone has the right to education”

According to UNESCO Institute for Statistics(UIS) data, about 258 million children and youth are out of school, and about 750 million people around the world don’t know how to read and write. We aim to increase access to education for the underprivileged in low-income countries in Africa and Asia, working towards a vision of education that leaves no one behind.

Why does education matter?

  • education matter 1

    Everyone has a right to
    education regardless of
    nationality, race, religion, gender, etc.

  • education matter 2

Education plays an important role in
    economic growth by cultivating a
    workforce and increasing household
    economic potential.

  • education matter 3

Education plays an important role in
    economic growth by cultivating a
    workforce and increasing household
    economic potential.

  • overview1
    2X
A child whose mother can read is twice as likely to survive beyond age 5.
  • overview2
    171 million
If all students in low income countries left school with basic reading skills,
171 million people could be lifted out of poverty.
  • overview3
    25%
If the male secondary school enrolment ratio were 25% points higher than the current average, the risk of war would decline by a quarter.

What we do?

We started a fundraising program in 2014 to help ensure the rights of Sub-saharan African and South Asian learners to quality education. We help increase access to education for people who can’t access suitable education through the public education system as a result of poverty, social prejudice, gender discrimination, religious discrimination, etc. As of 2020, about 2,000 donors, including schools and corporations, are supporting KNCU’s initiative to help achieve SDG 4 (“Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”) in developing countries.
